Taha Özyavuz
Licensed Professional Tour Guide certified by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism since 2008.
Born and raised in the ancient city of Harran, Upper Mesopotamia, Taha Özyavuz grew up surrounded by living archaeology. His academic foundation in Business Administration combined with specialized studies in Mesopotamian history, ancient mythologies, and comparative religion led him to a career dedicated to historical interpretation.
In 2010, Taha became one of the very first licensed guides to conduct official guided tours at Göbekli Tepe when the site was still virtually unknown to international tourism. Over the past 15+ years, he has personally guided thousands of travelers, academic delegations, documentarians, and historical researchers through Southeastern Turkey.
Taha has also been featured as an expert guest guide on international television programs, including History Channel's Ancient Aliens series and global documentary features on megalithic Anatolian archaeology.
